About me:
With over two decades of hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, both domestically and internationally, I bring a wealth of insights to the table. From founding Galapagos ICE: Immerse Connect Evolve to spearheading Education Equals Hope as its inaugural Executive Director, my journey has been shaped by the diverse roles I've embraced. Currently, I serve as the leader of Stepping Stones for Global Development. Having personally navigated the trials and triumphs of launching a nonprofit, I deeply understand the significance of unwavering passion and continuous growth in this arena. Let me utilize my extensive background to nurture your evolution as a nonprofit professional.
In addition to my role at Stepping Stones for Global Development, I dedicate my full-time efforts to Meredith College, where I serve as the Director of StrongPoints, overseeing a signature program focused on CliftonStrengths. Complementing my practical experience, I hold a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership, and I am certified as a Global Gallup Strengths Coach, a Hootsuite Social Media Professional, a Board Consultant (BoardSource), a Google Trainer, and a Certified Financial Education Instructor (NFEC).
Beyond my formal roles, I also contribute to academia as an Adjunct for the MNPL program, where I teach courses on Principles of Leadership and Leading Boards and Staff. Additionally, I've developed and led the online Nonprofit Excellence Certificate through CVANE. Through my coaching and consulting endeavors, my aim is to sow the seeds of sustainable growth. Just as trees evolve and flourish over time, I'm here to guide you through your individual journey of transformation.
